Yesterday's workout was a great change of pace from the norm. Here's the workout:
Grab a bike or head to the gym and find a stationary bike. You are going to do hills, intervals, or HIIT training for 8 miles. I chose the outside route because where I live there are a lot of massive hills. Here's what to do for each:
Hills
- Whether outside or inside determine a RPM that works for you and do your best to keep it at or above that number throughout the entire ride.
Intervals
- Do 1 minute at a lower RPM (Revolutuons per minute) and then 1 at a higher RPM. Determine that number for yourself is the best method. Challenge yourself but still make it accomplishable.
HIIT
- 20 seconds slow 10 seconds all out. This will be the hardest one without a doubt.
